Profile failure confusion

Post by stevedo »

I am running the latest version of SynBackPro.

I have three profiles which all reference the same source (folders and files on my local hard drive) but which mirror to three different destinations. Two profiles which mirror to externally USB-C attached SSDs run perfectly. The third always results in an error when run.

The problematic profile references the same destination as the two that mirror locally but instead mirrors using fast backup to my personal OneDrive. The source includes 2677 files. With the problematic profile I always get a failure and the logs define that two out of the 2677 files "Failed to copy from Source : itemNotFound: Item does not exist" I have confirmed that both files do exist on my local disk, this is also confirmed by the two other profiles which run successfully when referencing the same source.

I have tried the following:

1. Rename the "missing" files and re-run the profile. The result is the same but now the missing files are listed as the renamed ones.

2. Delete and re-create the profile. I have done this several times and the result is the same and it's always the same two files that cause the profile to fail. All other files and folders mirror as expected to OneDrive.

I'm at a loss as to what the issue might be or how to solve it. Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

PS not sure if this is a bug that should be reported via the bug reporting tool?
PPS I am running Windows 11 Pro with all updates installed.
