I have been running SyncBackFree for several months, most recently yesterday. But today, SyncBackFree fails to load with an error message that msvcrt.dll was not found. I attempted to reinstall SyncBackFree, but I get the same error message and the setup file will not begin.
I am running the current release of Windows 11, and a search for msvcrt.dll discovers numerous copies of this dll in various folders. In what folder is SyncBackFree expecting to find it? Any other suggestions?

Re: SyncBackFree fails because msvcrt.dll not found
It sounds like you have a corrupted Windows 11 install. If you Google "windows 11 msvcrt.dll not found" you will find several possible solution starting with running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt.
